A mother in South Carolina is accused of brutally murdering her newborn son.
After delivering the child, Ngo cut the umbilical cord and continued to stab her newborn son, according to the warrant.
Officer Melissa Yates of the of the Easley Police Department writes in the warrant that Ngo placed the newborn’s body in a plastic bag and then put the remains in another room.
The newborn was declared dead at the scene while Ngo was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Ngo is now being held in custody ahead of her next court appearance on May 15.
The Easley Police Department held a news conference on Tuesday to discuss the case,
“I’ve been doing this for two and a half decades, and I have never seen anything this gruesome,” said Police Chief Brandon Liner. “I’ve never seen anything this bad.”
Ngo does not appear to have a lawyer at this time.
