NBA YoungBoy— also known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again — is the proud father of 10 children.

The rapper, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, has welcomed his 10 kids with eight women: He has two children, Kayden and Armani, with his ex Nisha; one son, Kamiri, with Starr Dejanee, with whom he co-parents her son, Kamron, from another relationship; one son, Taylin, with an ex named Nia; one son, Kacey, with influencer Jania Meshell; one daughter, Kodi Capri, with actress Drea Symone; and one son, Kentrell Jr., with Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, the daughter ofFloyd Mayweather.

He shares his youngest two children with his wife, Jazlyn Mychelle. Their daughter, Alice, was born in August 2021, while their son, Klemenza Tru, arrived in September 2022. The pair wed a few months later and have been raising their children in Utah, where YoungBoy is under house arrest while awaiting trial on federal gun charges.

The Baton Rouge, La., native came to Utah when he was a child as part of a youth outreach group and fell in love with it. “When I got here, it was always my goal: I’m going to move here. I’m going to have a home here. This is where my family is going to be,” he toldBillboardin 2023.

Famously press-shy, YoungBoy rarely gives interviews, avoids doing publicity as much as possible and regularly deletes and re-opens his social media accounts. He frequently makes headlines thanks to his tumultuous relationships and history of arrests, and yet, he doesn’t often comment on his personal life. Still, based on his work, it’s clear that fatherhood is important to him. His kids have been featured in a number of his music videos — including those of “death enclaimed,” “Purge Me” and “Kacey Talk.”

Kayden Gaulden, 8

YoungBoy’s oldest son, Kayden Gaulden, was born in Louisiana on July 4, 2016, to YoungBoy and his then-girlfriend Nisha Keller. At the time, YoungBoy was just 16 years old, but he was already making a name for himself in the music industry.

At the age of 14, YoungBoy started posting his music on YouTube, and the following year, he released his first mixtape. Becoming a father only furthered his ambition — in October 2016, he reportedly signed a $2 million record deal with Atlantic Records.

“I got f—— children,” he said in an interview withThe Faderin 2017.“I got a family that depend on me.” Throughout the interview, YoungBoy’s paternal side was on display. Kayden and his brother, Kamron, both a year old at the time, were even featured in the accompanying photo shoot.

“I try to keep my kids with me everywhere I go,” he said.

Kamron Gaulden, 8

Kamron Gaulden was born on July 19, 2016, to YoungBoy’s ex Starr Dejanee. She also has an older son. YoungBoy has said that his family is a major motivator for him.

Taylin Gaulden, 7

In June 2018, Taylin and Nia were involved in a serious car accident that left the little boy hospitalized.

In 2019, YoungBoy released a song titled “4 Sons of a King” dedicated to his children. Taylin and his brothers Kayden, Kamiri and Kacey also appeared in the music video for the song.

Kamiri Gaulden, 7

The couple split following the news of Kamron’s paternity, but according to their social media, they appear to be on good terms.

In 2021, Dejanee wished YoungBoy a happy Father’s Day onX(formerly Twitter). She also included a link to his song “There Go Dada,” which featured Kamiri and his younger brother Kacey. Inone TikTok post, Dejanee described Kamiri as “the one who try anything with no fear” alongside a video of him water-skiing.

Kacey Alexander Gaulden, 6

Kacey Alexander Gaulden was born on Feb. 13, 2019, to YoungBoy and influencer Jania Meshell.

The couple, who started dating in 2017, had a highly volatile relationship. In February 2018, YoungBoy was arrested on charges of aggravated assault and kidnapping, perTMZ. The charges were related to a hotel surveillance video that captured what appeared to be a violent encounter between the two. The charges were later dropped and in December 2019,TMZreported that the rapper took a plea deal and pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery and family violence.

Kacey appeared in the video for his dad’s song “4 Sons of a King.” YoungBoy also dedicated the song “Kacey Talk” to his fourth son. In the music video, both Kacey and his older brother Kayden make an appearance.

Armani Gaulden, 4

Four years after welcoming their son Kayden, YoungBoy and Nisha Keller welcomed their second child together. His first daughter, Armani Gaulden, was born on June 19, 2020.

The following month, the rapper even clarified how many kids he had. In anInstagram Live videowithRich the Kid, he said: “I got four little boys and I got one daughter. Her name is Armani. I got another daughter on the way though.”

The clarification came after he released the song, “death enclaimed,” in which he says he has “four lil boys and two lil girls.” His second daughter was born a few months after the song’s release.

Kodi Capri Gaulden, 4

Five months after Armani was born, YoungBoy welcomed his second daughter, Kodi Capri Gaulden, on Nov. 26, 2020. He shares Kodi with his ex-girlfriend, model and actress Drea Symone.

In 2021, Symone shared anInstagrampost celebrating Kodi’s birthday. “November 26th 2020, God blessed me with a little feisty Sagittarius and I named her Kodi Capri,” she wrote. “Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet wild child. Time literally flies. We are blessed to have you and to be able to watch you grow. May god continue to bless you, guide you, and keep you.”

KentrellDeSean Gaulden Jr., 4

On Jan. 9, 2021, YoungBoy welcomed a son, Kentrell DeSean Gaulden Jr., with then-girlfriend Yaya Mayweather. The two were rumored to be engaged after Mayweather posted a photo of a ring on her left hand, perThe Shade Room.

YoungBoy and his now-wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, welcomed their first child together, daughter Alice Gaulden, on Aug. 30, 2021. Mychelle announced the news of her birth in December 2021 with an Instagram post captioned, “Love Alice Gaulden💝.”

Speaking toBillboard,YoungBoy confirmed that she was named after his grandmother, Alice Gaulden. The rapper spent most of his childhood with his grandmother, and the pair had a close relationship. He frequently references her in his music. She died in 2010, and her portrait hangs above YoungBoy’s fireplace.

“I got my way with my grandma,” he toldThe Fader.“I used to get whoopings with my mom, but my grandma spoiled me.”

Klemenza Tru Gaulden

In September 2022, YoungBoy announced the birth of his son Klemenza Tru Gaulden with Mychelle.

Also like his sister, Klemenza’s name has a special meaning. The rapper toldBillboardthat he was named after a character fromThe Godfather, PeterClemenza, whose loyalty he admired.
