Nikki Garciais opening up about her mindset going into the new year.

On the Dec. 30 episode ofThe Nikki & Brie Showpodcast, Garcia sat down solo to share the lessons she learned in 2024. One thing she said she researched was the “divine feminine,” which taught her to accept that she does not need “to fix, change or improve others.”

“You can be there for support, but you aren’t there to fix, especially in relationships that you have,” she added.

Garcia, whorecently got divorcedfromArtem Chigvintsevfollowing his domestic violence arrest in August, then seemingly hinted at what went wrong in her relationship. As she reflected on the energy she spent trying to fix others, she advised listeners to recognize the behavior before it became a problem.

“If you’re in that kind of relationship that you are fixing, you need to find your way out,” she said. “Because trying to fix someone isn’t going to bring love and happiness and change. You’re honestly, in the end, gonna drain yourself and just bring sadness. And so that hit me really hard, because I definitely am now in that space, and this new era of me in 2025 is no longer fixing. I will lead. I will help. I will support. I will love, but I will not fix.”

She also noted that “God will come to them and help them get on that path.”
