Timberlake embarked on his currentForget Tomorrow World Tourlast April. The singer made headlines last summer for fretting over the fate of the tour when he was arrested in Long Island, N.Y.,on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. In June, a source told theNew York Post’sPage Sixthat during the arrest, Timberlake muttered that “This is going to ruin the tour.” When the arresting officer asked Timberlake “What tour?” the singer reported responded, “The world tour.”

The exchange quickly sparked a meme, with social media users posting “This is going to ruin the tour” in response to an array of minor misfortunes.

In September, Timberlakereached a plea deal, andpled guiltyto the lesser charge of driving while ability impaired. He will be required to make a public service announcement about the dangers of driving impaired, pay a $500 fine with a $260 surcharge and complete 25 hours of community service at the non-profit of his choice. He also had his license suspended for 90 days.

Ultimately, however, Timberlake was onlyforced to cancel two showsfollowing the June 18 arrest, for completely unrelated injuries.
