Oprah’s $149 Block Heels Are So Comfortable, Shoppers Can Wear Them for Hours on End

Oprahrecently launched a new podcast and simultaneously hard-launched this season’s soon-to-be “it” shoe.

Ringing in at $149, her shoes are theVivaia Regina Prostyle, which has a chunky block heel for stability and a water-repellent fabric for protection during snow season. These boots also have an upper that pulls on like a sock and, according to shoppers, are shoes that you can wear for multiple hours in a row.

The shoes’ quilted insole, which is made from winter-perfect faux wool fabric, relieves pressure on the feet and has extra arch support to make them even comfier. There are only two sizes left of Oprah’s boots in the dark caramel color she wore, but there are 11 other colors to choose from, including ared-bottom pairthat looks like a designer brand.

“They are stylish and unique, and best of all, I can walk in them! It’s been years since I’ve been able to walk in a shoe with any kind of heel, but I wore these for 4 hours straight and never had the urge to rip them off,” wrote one shopper.

A second customer wore them for an even longer stretch of time: “[They] kept my feet dry and comfortable through 6.5 miles of walking in the rain and steep terrain.” They did note a few toe blisters but said that could have been because they went sock-less. But otherwise, they said, “My feet never complained.”

The Melissa boots, which Julia Roberts wore last December, according to the brand, are very similar to Oprah’s: The heel height and toe shape are the same, but they just have a slightly shorter shaft. A majority of the colors are also on sale for less than $100.
