Pamela Anderson Teases Plans to Continue Family Tradition by Starting Her Own Pickle Company: 'I'm a Pickler!'

Fans might eventually be able to get a taste ofPamela Anderson’s pickling prowess.

“I’m a pickler! I come from a long line of picklers,” the cookbook author said, explaining that her pickling affinity runs in the family. “My great auntie Vie, she won all the pickle and mustard awards on Vancouver Island. It’s a serious thing in my family.”

The model’s aunt taught her to pickle but Anderson “kick[s] it up” in her own way, she said. “I put dried roses in my pickles,” she shared, laughing with the shockedGreat British Baking Showhost. “We’re all trying to outdo each other.”

Hammond took inspiration from the actress’s activity and presented Anderson with her “first lot of pickles” aptly named “Pammy’s Pickles.”

The former Broadway star happily accepted the canned goods and admired the moniker. “I am doing something possibly called Pamela’s Pickles,” she dished and Hammond quipped, “Am I the person who’s invented your new show?”

Anderson replied that it’s not a show but just “one episode of something.” When Hammond pressed her for more pickle plan details, Anderson excitedly shared, “I’m going to sell pickles! I do pickles in my spare time. You gotta do a bit of everything these days, you know?”

The star has picked up accolades for her role inThe Last Showgirl,including nominations at theSAG Awardsand theGolden Globes. Though she did not get any nods from the 2025 Oscar nominations, Anderson explained that she was unfazed.

“Oh my gosh, it’s not something I ever expected. Doing the work is the win,” the star toldELLEafter the announcement. “That’s what I like to do, and I think we can lose sight of that sometimes in this whole crazy awards season, but it’s nice to be recognized, and it’s all a bonus.”

Anderson’s character, Shelly, is a Las Vegas dancer whose long-running show is coming to a close in director Gia Coppola’s new drama.Jamie Lee Curtisplays a fellow Vegas veteran and Shelly’s best friend, Annette.Brenda Song,Dave Bautista,Billie LourdandKiernan Shipkaalso star in the Sin City-based film.
