Patrick Mahomes Praises Taylor Swift as 'the Best,' Reveals He Has Some of Her Merch

Patrick Mahomeshas nothing but good things to say aboutTaylor Swift!

On Monday, Feb.3, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, 29, whose wifeBrittany Mahomesis good pals with the pop star, praised Swift, 35, and told reporters during a Super Bowl press conference that he even has some of her merchandise.

“Taylor Swift is the best,” Patrick said of Swift, who is dating his teammateTravis Kelce. “I’ve got the top!” he added while speaking at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans ahead of Sunday’s big game.

Appearing onThe Drivewith Carrington Harrison, the football player was asked, “Has Taylor ever baked something for you? And what did she make you?”

Patrick replied that she “has never baked anything specifically for me,' adding, “But she’s made different treats that have been around my house — muffins and donuts and stuff like that,” he continued.

“Sterling’s a big baker as well, so they make some stuff together sometimes,” the father of three added. “I’m not gonna say I don’t eat them.”

In addition to daughter Sterling, Patrick and Brittany, 29, also share a son,Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2, and daughter Golden Raye, who wasborn on Jan. 12, 2025.

Subtly offering her congratulations to the couple, who tied the knot in 2022, Swiftliked the postshortly after the announcement.

Since confirming her romance with Patrick’s teammate Kelce, 35, in October 2023, Swift has been pictured with Brittany on multiple occasions. The duo alsoattended the US Open with their other halvesin Sept. 2024.

On Jan. 26, the friends were snappedcelebratingthe Kansas City Chiefs' AFC Championship victory at the Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri.

In a clip shared onX,Swift hugged the mother of threewhile singing along to The Bee Gees' “Get Down Tonight,” while pair alsocomplimented each other’s outfits.

“You kept me so calm the last couple weeks,” Swift told Brittany while standing with Travis' momDonna Kelceon the field. She added that while she didn’t know what to do, Brittany had been texting her that “it’s gonna be okay.”
