Her partner, Lloyd Klein,confirmed to PEOPLEthat she died in her sleep while taking a nap.

Jocelyn was born Jocelyne Périsset in Lausanne, Switzerland, in 1940. In 1977, she eloped with Alec Wildenstein. They shared two children, Diane and Alec Jr.

The couple made headlines with their 1997 divorce which saw Alec pay his ex-wife $2.5 billion, as well as $100 million annually to settle. It was finalized two years later.

She and Klein had been together since 2003.

Championship boxerPaul Bambadied age 35, his manager Ne-Yo confirmed on Dec. 27.

In astatementshared to Instagram, the musician and manager, along with Bamba’s family, confirmed the boxer’s death.

“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of beloved son, brother, friend and boxing champion Paul Bamba, whose light and love touched countless lives,” the statement read.

“He was a fierce yet confident competitor with an unrelenting ambition to achieve greatness. But more than anything, he was a tremendous individual that inspired many with his exceptional drive and determination.”

Bamba had justclaimed the WBA GoldCruiserweight title on Dec. 21, less than one week before his death.

Dayle Haddon, an actress and former supermodel, died from suspectedcarbon monoxide poisoning. She was 76.

A representative told PEOPLE that Solebury Township Police arrived at the Bucks County, Penn., home of her son-in-law, Hallmark star Marc Blucas, at around 6:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call, on Dec. 27.

According to apolice report, authorities found a 76-year-old man passed out on the first floor of the home. He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., where he was receiving treatment. Police later confirmed to PEOPLE the identity of the man as Walter Blucas.

A woman was also discovered dead in a second-floor bedroom. In a statement toUSA Today, Eliot Gross, the deputy coroner of Bucks County, confirmed that it was Dayle. He added that a toxicology report is being conducted to determine her official cause of death.

His wife, Jacqueline Deuel, also confirmed the news toThe Hollywood Reporter, revealing the late actor died in hospice care in Largo, Florida after struggling with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

In aFacebookpost a day after his death, Jacqueline shared a photo of Geoffrey and announced the news to his family, friends and fans.

“This is Jacqueline, Geoffrey’s wife,” she wrote. “At midnight last night Geoffrey passed away and is with Peter. God took my ‘knight in shining armor’ gently.”

Geoffrey was the younger brother of late actor Peter Deuel, who was famous for his role as Hannibal Heyes in ABC’sAlias Smith and Jones.

South African TikTok starBeandri Booysen, known for her inspirational social media videos, died aged 19, her mother Bea confirmedvia Facebookon Dec. 18.

Booysen suffered from Progeria — also known as Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome — a rare genetic condition that causes children to age prematurely.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beandri Booysen, one of South Africa’s most beloved and inspirational young women,” Bea wrote.

“Beandri was not only known for her sparkling personality and infectious laugh, but was also the last surviving person in South Africa to live with Progeria.”

“Despite the challenges she had to deal with, Beandri radiated hope and joy of life. She was a voice and a symbol of awareness for Progeria and other special needs, and inspired thousands with her unique spirit,” the statement continued.

“The Booysen family kindly request privacy during this extremely difficult time as they process the loss of their beloved Beandri. Further details about the memorial service will be shared later,” the post concluded.

Dr. Kelly Powers, a physician and surgeon who contributed to multiple Fox News shows,died at age 45 on Dec. 1 of this year.

Powers had received a diagnosis of glioblastoma (brain cancer) in 2020, but underwent three brain surgeries and received treatment while continuing to work and welcoming her son Bennett in 2021.

The disease was in remission but recurred in 2024.

As an original member of the Bee Gees, Petersen contributed to four albums and to several of their hits, including “Massachusetts,” “To Love Somebody” and “Words.”
