Tiger Woodsappears to have passed his sporty gene onto his daughter,Sam.
Tiger, 49, was spotted in the crowd on Saturday, Mar. 1, watching his daughter’s soccer team, the Buccaneers, grab victory over Episcopal School in the FHSAA Class 2A state final at Spec Martin Municipal Stadium in DeLand, Florida.

Back in 2018, Tiger toldGolf.comthat though Sam was happy to join him at golfing tournaments, soccer was the firm favorite for her and her brother. “They’re keen into soccer,” he said. “If they want to play golf, that’s great. If they don’t, that’s fine, too. As long as they have a good time playing sports.”
He went on to share that he enjoyed playing the team sport with his children and had “a lot of fun” being able to “pass the ball around with them.”

While son Charlie has changed course and is nowfollowing in his dad’s footsteps with golf, Sam — who will be following in her father’s footsteps to Stanford University in the fall, per theNew York Post— is still committed to soccer.
