‘Queen of Versailles’ Jackie Siegel Shares Update on Her Sprawling 90,000 Sq.-Ft. Florida Home

Jackie Siegel’s mega mansion is almost there!

On Sunday, Jan. 26,The Queen of Versaillesstar, 59,shared anInstagram videoupdating her followers on the construction of her and husband David Siegel’s 90,000 square-foot Florida home, which has been over 20 years in the making.

“Well, I’m over at Versailles and we’re getting closer,” Jackie said as she filmed the home’s huge interior and grand staircases. “We’re getting closer to getting done.”

“There’s still a little bit of work,” she added, before entering an elevator.

While the area of the property — which is named after the Palace of Versailles in Paris, France — that was featured in the video had no furniture and some floor boards missing, the room’s intricate gold and cream ceiling and breathtaking chandelier could be seen in the background.

“You guys! 💋I know many of you have been curious about Versailles, so here’s a little peek! 🏰We’re getting closer… ❤️👸💋,” she added in her caption.

“It makes me so sad," Jackie told PEOPLE during the flooding, “Me and the boys worked so hard to get to where we were. I am very shaken up.”

The 90,000 square-foot home includes five kitchens, a 150-person dining room, a ballroom, a British-style pub and a 35-car garage.

The Siegels have been working on their Florida property since 2004. In 2012, the couple gave viewers an inside glimpse of how the 2008 global economic crisis threatened the construction of their home in their documentary,The Queen of Versailles.

A decade later, in 2022, the family returned to showcase their home again with their seriesQueen of Versailles Reigns Again,which first aired on Discovery+ before moving to HBO Max.

When complete, the property will be the largest single-family home in the U.S.
