Rob Lowe Reveals the Item He Loaned His Brother Chad After He Lost His Home in the L.A. Fires

Rob Loweis sharing how the Los Angeles wildfires affected his family.

The9-1-1: Lonestaractor, 60, shared withEntertainment Tonighthow his brotherChad Loweis doing after losing his house in the Palisades fire. Rob revealed that all Chad and his family’s belongings were burned, leaving them to start over.

“My brother, unfortunately, Chad lost his home, everything in it,” Rob said. “His entire neighborhood, gone. He has three little girls, all their friends lost everything.”

To help him get back on his feet, Rob said he has been offering some of his own stuff to Chad.

“He got a lot of big brother hand-me-downs — he’s back to being 15 years old,” theFloorhost laughed. “He said he loves to dress like a dad, I give him a lot of crap, so I [gave him] my most dad Hokas.”

Chad, who lived in the Pacific Palisades with wife Kim and daughters Mabel, Fiona and Nixie, shared the devastating loss in anInstagrampost on Jan. 11, which showed a photo of the charred remains of the home.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all the other people who are suffering from this unimaginable disaster,” it continued. “We are incredibly grateful to all the first responders, police, and firefighters, who put their lives on the line to protect all of us. They are truly heroes.”

He concluded: “Home really is where the heart is. Hold those you love close. Take care of each other. This crazy thing called “life” is so damn precious. Love, Chad, Kim, Mabel, Fiona,& Nixie.”

Chad was just one of many celebrities whose houses burned in the Palisades and Altadena fires, which began on Jan. 7 and ravaged tens of thousands of acres of Los Angeles.

Among the more than 80,000 people displaced wereLeighton MeesterandAdam Brody,Julia Louis-Dreyfus,Joshua Jackson,Anna Faris,Ricki Lake,Cary Elwes,Cameron Mathison,Spencer PrattandHeidi Montag, who all lost their houses.

Many, includingTara Lipinski,Chrissy Teigen,Britney Spearsand more, shared that they evacuated. Others, such asBella Hadid,Zooey DeschanelandSarah Staudinger, shared that they had lost their childhood homes in the blazes.Tatum O’Neal also wrote that her late father Ryan O’Neal’s home was gone.
