Rob Loweisn’t closing the door on the9-1-1universejust yet.
The actor, 60, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive interview that he is open to returning as Owen Strand, a role he played for five seasons on9-1-1: Lone Star,should the opportunity ever arise.
“Listen, I never say never to anything, and it’s a character that means a lot to me,” Lowe, who has partnered withUltimate Pet Nutrition, says.
“I have suchrespect and admiration for first responders, and it’s an honor whenever I can bring their stories to the screen, so you never know,” he adds.

Looking at theseries’ season finale, which aired on Feb. 3, Lowe is happy with how things ended, for his character and the fans watching.
“I’m really enjoying people’s reaction to it. I think people really appreciated us ending it on a positive note for all the characters that they’ve invested in for the five seasons,” he says. “And it is very clear that the audience is going to miss the show as much as we’re going to miss doing it.”

Currently, Lowe serves as host ofThe Floor, a game show based on the Dutch series of the same name where contestants take part in a variety of trivia subjects.
Season three of the series will premiere on Feb. 9, right after the2025 Super Bowl, where theKansas City Chiefswill face off against thePhiladelphia Eaglesat the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
“That’s the most valuable piece of real estate in all of media, so the fact that Fox gave it to our show is something that doesn’t happen every day, and I’m celebrating that,” Lowe tells PEOPLE. “I’m super pumped that multiple millions of new potential game players will be able to sample it after the world’s greatest game, which is the Super Bowl.”
