Ryan Reynoldsis “thrilled” with his win at the 2025 Critics Choice Awards.

“Zing! Thanks @criticschoice — whole team @deadpoolmovie is thrilled,” Reynolds wrote, captioning a photo of him and costarHugh Jackman, who also didn’t attend the ceremony.

He added to the joint-winners of the award, “…Huge congrats to @arealpainfilm.”

Reynolds and his wifeBlake Livelywere noticeably absent from the Critics Choice Awards on Friday.

During the ceremony,Handlermade a joke about Lively’songoing legal battle withIt Ends With Usactor-directorJustin Baldoni, who is suing both Lively, 37, and Reynolds.

“I want to acknowledge that we’ve been through a lot lately, not just here in Los Angeles, but our entire country, waking up every day not knowing what news we’re going to hear that will disappoint or horrify us,” said Handler, 49, inher monologue.

“So it is important in times like these to have a distraction, and that’s why I want to personally extend my gratitude to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively,” she joked.

“Thank you for providing us with that distraction, I’m grateful,” she continued. “I think we’re all grateful. And I think we’re good. I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you’re on, we can all agree to accept that there’sprobably not going to be a sequel.”

“It ends with us, guys,” she concluded, referring to the title of the 2024 film.

In December, Livelyfiled a complaint against Baldoni, 41, accusing him of sexual harassmentduring the production ofIt Ends With Us.She is also suing Baldoni’s production company Wayfarer Studios over an alleged retaliatory public smear campaign.

Baldoni has denied the allegations and countered with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging them of defamation and extortion.

“She and Ryan are in it together. They are always a tremendous team. They will get through this as a team too,” the insider said of the couple who share four children.
