Ryan Reynoldshad a full-circle moment when he sawWickedwith his daughter.

On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the actor, 48, gave a speech as he presented producerMarc Plattwith the award for best film forWickedat the National Board of Review Award Gala in New York City, sharing that he had a sweet connection to the theater he saw the movie in for the first time.

“I sawWickedat the Metrograph Theater here in New York City,” Reynolds said during his speech. “This is very the same theater that I attended in 2017 when I took my 3-year-old daughter to see her first film on the big screen, which wasThe Wizard of Oz.”

Reynolds shares daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, whom he welcomed in February 2023, with wifeBlake Lively.

“Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids' sperm donor!” the “Cruel Summer” singer wrote in the caption of her post, referencing Reynolds' character Deadpool’s real name.

“I’m going to need that on my gravestone, actually,” Reynolds toldDeadlineof the post.

“Yeah, that is kind of it. She is the godparent to my daughters,” he continued. “That was very sweet. Not just sweet, that was, like, you could probably quantify a box office based on Taylor just doing something like that.”

Earlier this past fall, Reynolds and Lively took daughter James with them as they attended Swift’s concert in New Orleans. In aTikTok videoshared from the show, theIt Ends with Usstar, 37, could be seen walking into the venue with an arm around her daughter, who touted sparkles in her long blonde hair and clapped as she made her way to her seat.

Another video posted to TikTok showed Lively, Reynolds and James later during the show as they listened to Swift’s song “Betty,” which includes all three of Lively’s older kids' names.

Inthe video, Lively filmed Swift while James stood in front of her parents, singing along and nodding her head.
