The Super Bowl was extra special this year for Barkley, whose birthday also happened to fall on the day of the big game. The dad of two celebrated his 28th year around the sun as he played against the Kansas City Chiefs.
On Sunday, Jan. 26, just before the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against theWashington Commandersin the NFC Championship Game and secured their spot in the 2025 Super Bowl, Barkley took a moment to greet his kids and girlfriend.
In an adorable video shared on the NFL on FoxXaccount, Barkley’skidsandgirlfriend Congdoncould be seen next to him on the sidelines. The athlete asked Jada to “gimme a handshake,” and the pair launched into a prepared sequence, complete with kisses on each cheek and a peace sign.
Barkley then bent down to hug Jada, who wore a white puffer coat with an Eagles sweatshirt underneath.
“Love you, daddy!” she could be heard telling the running back.
Shortly after Jada’s birth, Barkley said he was “honored and blessed” to have a daughter and to enter fatherhood. “[Always] gotta try to set the standard for her because her image of a man is gonna be off of me,” he added.
