Scarlett Johanssonis sharing some first-hand insight intoSelena GomezandBenny Blanco’s “cuteness” at the Academy Awards!
While Squibb, 95, didn’t “hear anything” herself, her co-presenter opened up about sitting next to Gomez, 32, and Blanco, 36.
“Well, I’m sitting next to Selena and Benny and I have to say… I’m seeing a lot of very cute, honeymoon-phase cuteness happening,” Johansson, 40, said, before making a face of approval.

Of course, Gomez and Blanco — whogot engaged back in December— were in attendance at the Oscars since Gomez’sEmilia Pérezearned a nod for Best Picture among its13 total nominations, ultimately taking home two (Zoe Saldaña forbest supporting actressandbest original songwinner “El Mal").
The musicians started dating in June 2023 and, beyond their latest date night at the Academy Awards, have spent their time together at the2025 Golden Globes, during the holidays with aThanksgiving feastandserving food together to first respondersamid the Los Angeles wildfires.
As for Johansson, she previously talked about the pair’s engagement during an episode ofTODAY with Jenna & Friendsin January, when the actress said she was “happy for” Gomez following her big news.
“I don’t know her personally, but I feel like now I’m invested in this,” she said, calling the couple “so cute.”

Gomez and Blanco are now preparing for the release of their new album,I Said I Love You First, which arrives on March 21 and is set to mark their first collaborative effort as a couple. The project celebrates their love story and gives “fans a unique window into their relationship,” per a press release.
Before dating, Gomez and Blanco teamed up several other times — specifically for “Kill Em with Kindness” and “Same Old Love” off Gomez’s 2015 albumRevival, track “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy andJ Balvinin 2019 and Gomez’s August 2023 release “Single Soon.”
Speaking withInterviewMagazinelast month, the duo also shared some insight into what Gomez called her fiancé’s “really sweet” marriage proposal, which involveda Taco Bell picnicon Dec. 11. Blanco called it the “sickest surprise that [Gomez] had no idea about.”
“It couldn’t have come at a better time because I was starting to f— up. The thing that makes me so crazy is, you’re getting engaged, and right before, they’re like, ‘Show me how good of a liar you are. Sneak around and try to do this perfect thing without me knowing,’ " Blanco joked.
“At the end, she was starting to get upset because she was like, ‘Why aren’t you coming home tonight?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just at my friends.’ I almost did it early. But I nailed it, I think.”
“You did,” Gomez confirmed.
