Troian Bellisarioisn’t messing around.

On Thursday, Dec. 5, Prime Video released the trailer for its upcoming series,On Call, which stars thePretty Little Liarsalum, 39, Brandon Larracuente, 30,Lori Loughlin, 60, Eriq La Salle, 62 and Rich Ting, 44.

According to the series' official logline, Bellisario plays officer Traci Harmon, “a seasoned twelve year veteran and training officer with a strong moral compass that has defined her approach to policing, even if that puts her at odds with new law enforcement policies.”

Larracuente stars as Alex Diaz, “an ambitious rookie who grapples with holding onto his optimistic outlook as he realizes the challenges he’ll face in today’s climate,” according to the official description.

In trailer forOn Call, Harmon declares, “We think we know what this job is until you get that one call” as scenes of intense police chases and precarious suspects play on screen.

Eventually, Harmon meets new rookie, Diaz, who admits he placed second in his class at the police academy out of three students. After she pokes fun at his lack of experience, she reassures him, saying, “You know, I’m big on effort. If you can give me effort, I can teach you the best.”

The job later proves to have a dangerous learning curve, but as the duo field hatchet-wielding criminals and other suspects together, they grow closer but Harmon seems to be unable to put her guard down.

“I feel like you know everything about me. I know nothing about you,” Diaz admits as the trailer flashes to a shot of Harmon with deep scars on her back and shoulders.

“I’ve got some people gunning for me. I don’t want that coming off on you,” she replies while other officers whisper.

Precinct politics aside, one dangerous case sees all officers respond as a unit. With tensions high and their lives on the line, Harmon firmly tells Diaz, “No fear, no hesitation, no doubt,” who replies, “Understood.”

La Salle and Loughlin make brief cameos during an action-packed montage, with Loughlin saying, “Every move we make is under a microscope.”
