Tarek El Moussa's 3 Kids: All About Taylor, Brayden and Tristan

Tarek El Moussais known for flipping houses, but he’s also busy with three kids — one being an infant!

“The kids are the most important thing,” Tarek told PEOPLE in October 2017. “If Mom and Dad can’t get along it affects the kids, so Mom and Dad better get along.”

“I’m just obsessed with my kids. They’re my everything, so having another one is just icing on the cake. I’m so excited,” El Moussa told PEOPLE.

Either way, Tarek is enjoying being a dad. In July 2023, he sharedphotos on Instagramof himself holding Tristan while lounging in the cabin of a plane. He paired the sweet photos with a lengthy caption about traveling to Cabo with “my whole family” and enjoying time with his kids.

“I know how quickly this time goes so taking in every moment before I blink and all of my kids are all grown up❤️,” he wrote in part. “Been taking a lot of family vacations recently because at the end of the day, the work that I put in day in and day out means nothing without the people I love the most so spending quality time with them is a huge priority of mine.”

Taylor Reese El Moussa was born on Sept. 22, 2010, and has been in the public eye since she was in diapers. The blonde tot frequently appeared on her parents' renovation showFlip or Flop, which ran from 2013 to 2022.

Taylor has also appeared on Tarek and Hall’s spin-off shows,Tarek’s Flip SideandChristina on the Coast.

After so many years of watching her parents work on homes, Tarek has suggested that Taylor could follow in their real estate footsteps.

Since then, Tarek and Hall have shared how their daughter is growing up and turning into a “real teenager.”

“The best big sister her soon-to-be brother could ask for ❤️ Tay remains the only girl in the EL Moussa family which is crazy to think she’ll be the older sibling to three younger brothers!“he wrotealong with a sweet snap of him and his daughter sitting together. “She may have some interesting times ahead of her with three younger brothers 😅🤣 but this girl can handle it 😎 Tay will always be my first born and daddy’s little girl to me.”

“Mommy daughter shopping date 💟. The fact that we wear the same shoe size now is 😳,” she captioneda photoof her and Taylor smiling. “Taylor turns 12 next month, pre-teen life is becoming real much too quick!!”

Taylor also seems to have a good relationship with her stepmom, Heather. On Jan. 17, 2023, TheSelling Sunsetstar shared asweet photo on Instagramfeaturing her hugging the pre-teen.

“Got so lucky with this one 🤍,” the real estate agent wrote in the caption. “I met Tay when she was a little girl and the second I met her, I knew my life was going to change. She melted my heart. She opened her heart to me day one of meeting her. There was never an ‘awkward’ phase for us. Not everyone can understand the close relationship I have with the kids & that’s fine, all that matters is how we feel.”

“The kids made me want to have kids, I love my role as their bonus mom❤️,” she added.

Brayden James El Moussa, 9

Tarek and Hall’s second child,Brayden James, was born on Aug. 20, 2015, and has already developed severalinterestsin his young life. “Bray wants to spend the whole day looking at sharks,” Heather shared onInstagramin January 2022.

Tarek has also shared that the boy spends his time playing soccer, doing Jiu Jitsu and studying. In a sweet post from March 2022, theFlipping 101 with Tarek El Moussastar even called his sonan inspiration, sharing a photo of himself smiling with Brayden and Heather at what appeared to be the boy’s soccer game.

“I can’t tell you all how proud I am of my little guy!!” Tarekcaptionedthe Instagram post. “He’s thriving in life, more than ever, and it’s because of hard work.”

He added, “As adults, we should really watch how hard our kids work and make sure we are working just as hard!”

In May 2022, Tarek and Hall revealed that Brayden underwent an emergency appendectomy. Hall posted a photo onInstagramof her son in a hospital bed. “Scary 12 hours for us parents + step parents,” she wrote.

“After being admitted to the ER, Brayden had to have an emergency appendectomy as well as removal of Meckel’s diverticulum early this morning,” Hall continued, referring to an abnormality of the small intestine. “Nothing like seeing your child in excruciating pain 😣.”

Tarek shared his ownInstagram postabout the medical ordeal, describing it as a “very scary day,” adding, “we all banned together as a family to get through it.”

In January 2023, Tarekcalled Brayden a “mini” version of him.

“My mini… but better ❤️ I see a lot of myself in him already (I might be biased 😂) but seeing him and Tay grow into themselves more and more each year has been the greatest source of happiness. Nothing beats being a dad 🙏,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a photo with his son.

Months later, the proud dad marked his son’s 8th birthday with asweet Instagram post. El Moussa shared cute photos of himself with his son, including a snap of the two posing in front of a cupcake tower.

“Things keep getting better and better and our bond stronger and stronger,” El Moussa continued. “I just love this kid❤️❤️❤️!”

Tarek and Heatherwelcomed their son on Jan. 31, 2023. The couple introduced their little one to the world with a joint Instagram post, but they didn’t reveal his name or face at the time.

“It was a huge shock,” Heather said. “We just weren’t expecting this. We had just gone through IVF. We had embryos on ice. We had a plan.” She continued of her pregnancy, “I think when you least expect it and there’s no stress in your life, the world just brought us what was meant to be,” she continued. “I’m so excited that it happened like this.”

In an Instagram post, Heather explained that Tarek was originally supposed to be named Tristan and that Jay is also her dad’s middle name.

TheSelling Sunsetstar also opened up about her son’s “scary” birth story. “We were at my final doctor appointment and our Dr. rushed us to the hospital to get monitored because Tristan’s movements had slowed down,” Heather recalled in her post.

She added, “Tristan’s heart rate was dropping very low every time I’d push & was staying low. Which was terrifying.”

“Our little bear,” the reality star wrote on top of the photo.

When hostJennifer Hudsonsaid that Heather looked “so happy,” she admitted, “I am happy. It’s like a dream come true.”
