Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Her True Thoughts About Jumping Back Into the Dating Scene for the First Time Since She Was 20

Taylor Frankie Paulmay not be ready to jump back into dating after her split fromDakota Mortensen.

TheSecret Lives of Mormon Wivesstar, 30, shared her hesitations to date again onInstagram Reelson Feb. 3. In the video, Paul danced around her kitchen and wrote “When I realized I haven’t been in the dating scene since I was 20 and eventually will have to go back to that” over the clip. In the caption, she added that “nothing sounds worse” than dating again.

Paul — who started dating Mortensen, 32, in July 2022 — previously shared a similar sentiment about dating again in anInstagram Q&Aposted on Jan. 20, when she confirmed their split.

“The more you resist the pain coming through, the longer the suffering, learned this the hard way,” she added.

She also opened up about some of the struggles she faces while co-parenting with Mortensen, listing “the quiet after the chaos, missing out [on] time with your kids” and “inconsistency” as the biggest challenges while splitting time with the kids.

Mortensen was also spotted when Paul reunited with her fellowMormon Wivescostars and MomTok membersMikayla Matthews,Mayci Neeley,Jessi Ngatikauraand their husbands on the same day to celebrate the show’s premiere on ABC.

Ngatikaura, 32, also shared her own birthday shoutout to Mortensen on her Instagram Stories. In the video, Mortensen and Paul sat together while the table sang “Happy Birthday” to him. She wrote “Thanks for being the second best member ofDadtok😜” over the clip of the pair together while he held their son.
