A Florida teacher was taken into custody after he was found naked inside an elementary school.
Port St. Lucie police were called to the Windmill Point Elementary School around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28 after a sheriff’s deputy spotted Urias, 34, naked in one of the classrooms at the school, according to the affidavit.
“When the male saw [the sheriff’s deputy] he quickly clothed himself and began to run toward the back of the building before making his way outdoors,” per the affidavit.
When the sheriff’s deputy tried to take him into custody, Urias allegedly punched the deputy in the face, the affidavit states.
“[The sheriff’s deputy] then gained control of the male against one of the buildings while waiting for backup to arrive,” states the affidavit. “Several other officers went on scene and aided in placing the male in handcuffs.”
In a classroom, officers discovered his laptop, food, clothing as well as sex toys and less than 20 grams of marijuana in a clear plastic container.
Urias allegedly told officers that he was experiencing homelessness and gained entry to the school through an unlocked window.
