Duck Dynasty’s five-year run on A&E may have ended, but the family dynasty lives on over seven years later.

The reality show followed members of the Robertson family, including Phil and Kay Robertson alongside three of their sons — Jase,Willieand Jep — several grandchildren and a few of their employees as they worked together at their family business, Duck Commander.

At the show’s peak in 2013, 11.8 million viewers tuned in to watch the season 4 premiere, making it the most-watched nonfiction series telecast in history, according toEntertainment Weekly. The long-running hit ended in 2017 after 11 seasons.

In December 2024, Jase announced that the Robertson patriarch, Phil,received a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. A month later, Si was in ahunting accident.

Better known to fans as Uncle Si, Phil’s brotherSilas Merritt “Si” Robertsonmade his way toDuck Dynastyafter serving inthe U.S. Armyduring the Vietnam War.

He was featured in all 11 seasons of the show’s five-year run,creating reedsfor each of Duck Commander’s patented duck calls.

In 2016, Si landed his own A&E spinoff,Going Si-Ral, which ran on the network and featured the veteran reacting to viral videos from the internet. Two years later, he hit the road with his daughter-in-law, Marsha Robertson (who is married to Si’s son Scott), and singer-songwriter Bridgette Tatum to perform with their country band, Uncle Si & The Sicotics.

Si underwent surgery on his lungs in September 2022 after developing breathing difficulties that he attributed to smoking, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and COVID-19 complications. He shared an update onInstagramafter the procedure. “The doc says surgery went great,” he wrote. “I’m ready to get back at it, Jack!”

Since November 2020, Si has hosted the podcastDuck Call Roomwith Duck Commander employee Justin Martin. Si lives in West Monroe withhis wife, Christine Robertson, whom he married in 1971. They share two kids, daughter Trasa and son Scott, and several grandkids.

In January 2025, Si was hospitalized after a hunting accident, as Martin explained during an episode of theirpodcast. He said Si fell while getting out of a boat, and though he tried to walk off his injury, he later admitted that he was in “a lot of pain.”

Jason Silas “Jase” Robertsonis Phil and Kay’s second son.

Jase displayed his stellar hunting skills during hisDuck Dynastyrun. He also shared a glimpse into his business prowess, running the manufacturing side ofDuck Commander.

Jase joined his father Phil and brother Alan on the podcast,Unashamed,in 2018. Jase also started the business venture,Logtown Estate, with Missy in Monroe. The couple restored a 19th-century building to use as a wedding and event venue.

Jas and his wife, Missy, share three children: sons Reed and Cole, plus daughter Mia. In 2022, the couple also opened their home to a fourth child when a woman whom Jase had baptized gave birth while incarcerated and signed the child over to Missy when he was 2 days old, per an episode ofUnashamed.

A talented singer and dancer, Sadieshowed off her moveson season 19 ofDancing with the Stars, finishing as the runner-up with partnerMark Ballas. The year prior, she recorded a duet with Grammy-winning country artistAlison Kraussfor theDuck DynastyChristmas album.

Apart from being a performer, Sadie has also written several books, including work related to herLive Originalbrand.The New York Timesbest-selling author’s latest project was a devotional book titledThe Next Step, which debuted in November 2024.

Sadie married her husband,Christian Huff, on Nov. 25, 2019, in front of more than 600 guests at her family’s Louisiana farm. “Christian is so kind and so affirmingof who I am as a person,” she told PEOPLE ahead of their nuptials. “He makes me a lot stronger. I just feel like equally, we make each other better when we’re together.”

John Godwin has been working for Duck Commander since 2002, which he has called “a blessing,” and appeared on over 100 episodes ofDuck Dynasty.

“When I started, I was one of few full-time employees outside the family,” he said, per theDuck Commander website. “I will definitely say that the Robertsons are very giving and passionate people.”

Before appearing on the show, Godwin was a rodeo bull rider and paper mill employee, according tothePlainview Herald. He was known for hunting squirrels and deer and had a penchant for trouble.

Godwin is still an employee at Duck Commander — he appeared in a “Call Talk” video promoting theteal hen callin 2023 — though the show opened up other avenues for him.
