The Flip Off's Epic Finale Sees an Unlikely Duo Get Sweet Revenge and One Star Washed Up

One team technically took home the prize ontheFlip Offfinale— but therealwinners were revealed at the very end of the episode.

For the winner announcement and celebration, the stars, friends, family, and the contractors and realtors for each team, gathered at Christina’s home in Newport Beach, Calif.

(Spoilers ahead)Guest judge Jeff Lewis announced thatTarek and Heather earned the highest return on investment on their flip house (39% compared to Christina’s 24%), officially winning the competition, but it was Christina and Heather who got the last laugh.

Tarek immediately began playfully gloating about his win, declaring himself the best flipper in the world and even pulling out a wrestling-style champion’s belt he had custom made for himself for the occasion — even before he knew if he’d won. Christina and Heather rolled their eyes at his display as the three came together to take photos in front of Christina’s pool.

As the camera clicked, the two women suddenly turned on Tarek and shoved him sending him flying backwards into the water to land with a massive splash.

The partygoers gasped and laughed as Tarek paddled to the edge of the pool’ while Christina and Heather hugged each other on the sidelines.

“As soon as that belt came out, me and Christina chatted on the side,” Heather explained of their scheme after the fact.“[We] had to bring Tarek back down to reality.”

In the end, Christina even got candid about her true feelings for her ex’s new wife and her prowess as a designer, sharing, “I actually really like Heather. I give her a lot of credit, the house looks beautiful.”

The sentiments each shared and their of tag-teamed attack on Tarek fit the dynamic the three of developed throughout the series, which has seen the three co-parents navigate their evolving relationship with respect, playfulness and the occasional fight.

Earlier in the episode, Heather explained what it was like working with Christina and Tarek to some friends. TheSelling Sunsetalum said the former spouses argued like “brother and sister.”

“Her and Tarek had big issues, especially when I met them, they were still—they hated each other, so I was navigating how I came into the picture” Heather explained. “What I really admire about [Christina] is that she let me come in and be a step-mom. That’s a big thing to me because, as a mom, it would be really hard to have another woman raising my kids.”

She adds that she and Christina enjoy making fun of Tarek together since the two women aren’t going to pick on each other. Heather and her friends agreed that the father of three certainly loves getting “all of the attention” from the women in his life.
