Maci Bookout,Farrah Abraham,Jenelle Evans,Chelsea Houska,Kailyn Lowry,Amber Portwood,Leah Messerwere all teenagers themselves when they shared their stories on16 and Pregnantand later,Teen Mom. And now, their little ones are all grown up.

Season 2 ofTeen Mom: The Next Chapter,which premieres on Jan. 30, 2025, will be a “super sweet season,” the promo for the season explains as it marks 16 years since the show first premiered.

In honor of the show’s milestone, here’s a look back at some of its original stars back in the day, and their now-teenage kids.

Kailyn Lowry and Son Isaac

Kailyn Lowrywas 17 when she and her high school boyfriend Jo Rivera welcomed their son, Isaac Elliot Rivera in 2010. On Jan. 18. 2025 Isaac turned 15 years old, making him just two years younger than Kailyn was when she welcomed him her senior year of high school.

In a post celebrating his 13th birthday in 2023 the mom of seven wrote of her eldest son, “We have literally grown up together, but in some ways he’s even more grown than I am.”

Maci Bookout and Son Bentley

Maci Bookoutwas one of the true16 and PregnantOGs as she and her ex-boyfriend were featured on season 1 of the series. And now, at 16, her oldest sonBentley is the “oldestTeen Momkid,“Bookout told PEOPLE.

The teenage athlete, who plays baseball and golf and wrestles, is now taller than his mom and big brother to little sister Jayde and little brother Maverick.

Chelsea Houska and Daughter Aubree

Chelsea Houskawelcomed hereldest daughter Aubreeon the first day of senior year of high school, Sept. 7, 2009, with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind. Audiences were first introduced to Houska on16 and Pregnantthough she later joined the cast of Teen Mom 2 when the spinoff first premiered in 2011.

At 15 years old, Aubree is just three years younger than her mom was when she had her and is looking more and more like her every day.

Houska is also mom to children Watson, Layne and Walker, whom she shares with husband Cole DeBoer.

Leah Messer and Daughters Ali and Aleeah

Leah Messerwelcomed her daughters Ali and Aleeah with ex Corey Simms in 2009.

Farrah Abraham and Daughter Sophia

Farrah Abrahamis another16 and Pregnantoriginal, as she was featured on the very first season of the show as a senior in high school. Abraham welcomed her daughterSophia Abrahamon Feb. 23, 2009. Sophia’s father, Abraham’s ex-boyfriend Derek Underwood, died just months before his daughter was born in a car accident.

Amber Portwood and Daughter Leah

Amber Portwoodwelcomed her daughter Leah Shirley with then-boyfriend Gary Shirley in 2008.

Portwood’s difficult journey with teen parenthood has been documented on the show and she previously admitted to having substance abuse issues while filming the franchise andfaced legal issues in 2019 after being accused of assault.

Jenelle Evans and Son Jace

Janelle Evanswas 17 when she and her ex Andrew Lewis welcomed their only son,Jace Vahn.

Jace is now 15 and towers over his mom, who later welcomed two more children: Kaiser and Ensley.

Evans also faced substance abuse issues and trouble with the law and at one point her mother Barbara took over custody of Jace before Evans regained it again in 2023.
