Tom Bradyis sharing a few words about love, a day after it was reported that his ex-wife,Gisele Bündchen, gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend,Joaquim Valente.

On Thursday, Feb. 6, the NFL legend, 47, went on his Instagram Stories to share a quote about the “secret to being loved.”

“I really think the secret to being loved is to love. And the secret to being interesting is to be interested. And the secret to have others find beauty in you is to find beauty in others. And the secret to having a friend is being a friend,” the quote, attributed to the handle @larissa_raymond, read.

Underneath the quote, Brady wrote, “❤️❤️❤️ Love this.”

The retired football star’s upload comes a day afternews broke that Bündchen, 44, and Valente, 37, had welcomed their first child.

The name continues the tradition of giving her kids water-themed middle names, as she shares daughterVivian Lake, 12, and sonBenjamin Rein, 15, with Brady. The athlete also shares sonJohn “Jack” Edward Thomas, 17, with his exBridget Moynahan.

Prior to her newborn’s arrival, an insider told PEOPLE that “Gisele’s doing great.”

Bündchen and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriendfirst made headlines in February 2022when she shared avideo of her session at his academy. Brady and Bündchenfinalized their divorceafter 13 years of marriagein October 2022andagreed to joint custodyof their children.
