Tom Hiddlestonis bringing an acclaimed newStephen Kingadaptation to movie theaters.

On Thursday, March 13, Neon released the first trailer forThe Life of Chuck, in which he plays a man named Charles Krantz, whose life story is told in reverse-chronological order.

The Life of Chuck’s trailer comes after it won the 2024Toronto International Film Festival’sPeople’s Choice Awardover highly anticipated movies likeEmilia PerezandAnorain September.

Hiddleston teased a seven-minute-long dance scene he undertook inThe Life of Chuckwhile speaking with PEOPLE in Toronto.

“Chuck Krantz is in town for a convention to speak to other accountants about accountancy things and he hears the beat of a drum. It’s an infectious beat that infuses his whole body,” he said of the scene. “Suddenly, he finds himself moving his hips. And across the way is a young woman who seems to be enjoying it too.”

“It’s completely spontaneous and joyful,” Hiddleston added of the sequence. “I hope the audience finds it as spontaneous and joyful as we did.”

The new movie is adapted from King’s 2020 novella of the same name, published in his short story collectionIf It Bleeds.

Mike Flanagan, who has adapted multiple King properties before and grown popular from his Netflix horror series likeThe Haunting of Hill HouseandMidnight Mass, wrote and directed the film.

Mark Hamill,Chiwetel Ejiofor,Karen Gillan,Mia Sara,Matthew Lillard,Harvey Guillén,Q’orianka Kilcher,Kate SiegelandDavid Dastmalchianalso appear in the new movie.

The Life of Chuckis in theaters in June.
