Tom Selleckisn’t slowing down anytime soon.The 79-year-old actor sat down withParadeto discuss his plans for the future after 14 seasons onBlue Bloods.While he joked there aren’t necessarily “offers pouring in,” Selleck said doesn’t have plans to retire.“I don’t know where my next job will take me,” he explained. “People ask, ‘What do you want to do next?’ I’m not sure. I don’t want to do Frank Reagan II.”“I’m open to suggestions because I love Frank Reagan, but nobody’s really asked,” he later said, referring to hisBlue Bloodscharacter. “I don’t see him retiring and going off somewhere. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a viable character. We go way, way back. I love him dearly. I’d love to work with Sam," he said.After 15 years of filmingBlue Bloods,Selleck is looking forward to what’s to come while getting used to the major shift in his life. “The hardest part for me is we had theBlue Bloodsfamily and we had the actors’ family,” he said. “They’re all my pals. It’s hard to let go because coming to work was a joy,” headded in October.Despite the show ending, Sellecktold PEOPLE in Aprilhe’s counting his blessings for the experience, both onBlue Bloodsand throughout his career. “I’ve had a very good life, a very lucky life.
