Travis Kelce Sighs Leaving the Field After Crushing Loss in 2025 Super Bowl

Travis Kelcehad disappointment written all over his face after coming up short in Super Bowl 2025.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was tight-lipped andwas seen sighing while walking off the fieldwith his teammates after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Kelce, 35, was unable to help get things going for the AFC champs, catching only four passes for 39 yards.

Fox Sports' Erin Andrews reported on the mood of the Chiefs sideline following Mahomes' second interception. “As you can imagine, a lot of emotion on the Chiefs’ sideline,” she said, noting that Kelce had “a couple of drops” in the first half.

Andrews said the sideline was “pretty calm” when the Chiefs went down 10 points, as they’ve proven to overcome a deficit time and time again, but once Mahomes threw the pick-six, the players were feeling “different emotions” about their chances to three-peat.

One of the few bright spots for the Chiefs was rookie wide receiverXavier Worthy, who finished with 157 yards and scored two touchdowns.

It wasn’t until near the end of the third quarter that the Chiefs even reached midfield.

Eagles quarterbackJalen Hurtswas named MVP while two birthday boys — star running backSaquon Barkleyand rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean — also aided in bringing the franchise its second Vince Lombardi trophy.

It was a disappointing end to a season in which the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl a third time in three years. Had they won on Sunday, the team would have made NFL history.

The “So High School” singer turned to her pal, rapperIce Spiceand longtime friendAshley Avignone, and gave the crowd a bit of side-eye as the group shook off the negativity.
