Travis Kelce Skips Chiefs Afterparty, FaceTimes The Chainsmokers Following Super Bowl Loss

On Monday, Feb. 10, a videoshared on X(formerly known as Twitter) captured the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, having a FaceTime call with electronic music producers The Chainsmokers following the team’s 40-22 Super Bowl loss to thePhiladelphia Eagles.

“I just played your f—ing party,” The Chainsmokers, who consist of Alex Pall, 39, and Drew Taggart, 35, said after performing at a Kansas City Chiefs afterparty.

Appearing in good spirits, Kelce had a smile on his face as he spoke to the DJs over the phone.

“Dom is here too,” someone on the phone yelled before turning Kelce’s camera to DJ Dom Dolla.

Although Kelce appeared to be a no-show at the party the DJs played, the room was filled with fans and kids dressed in Chiefs gear.

Gracie Hunt —the daughter of the Chiefs CEO and chairman Clark Hunt — reposted on herInstagram Storieswhat appeared to be the celebrations as people dressed in red and stood on a dance floor.

However, last year, Kelce was in attendance for post-game festivities after winning the 2024Super Bowlagainst the San Francisco 49ers.

At the time, the champion partied with The Chainsmokers, fellow players and his girlfriendTaylor Swift—who alsosupported Kelceat Sunday’s game —at Zouk nightclub at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

A video on TikTokeven showcased Kelce getting onstage and dancing to Swift’s 2008 song “You Belong with Me” during the party.

The athlete and the Chainsmokers alsocelebratedtogether at a Chiefs’ afterparty at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Las Vegas following their 2023win against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kelce, Pall and Taggart are known to be great friends and have partied together on numerous occasions.
