Trisha Paytas MakesSNLCameo 3 Years After Her Podcast Cohost Said He'd 'Cut' His Arm Off If She Ever Made the Show

Trisha Paytashas made herSaturday Night Livedebut.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the 36-year-old social media influencer made a surprise appearance on the sketch comedy show — joining hostPaul Mescaland a handful of cast members includingBowen Yangfor a skit aboutSpotify Wrapped.

Paytas' cameo lasted less than a minute before she later appeared during the show’s closing moment.

After the fact, fans pointed out that Paytas previously expressed her desire to be on the show more than three years ago — when her formerFrenemiespodcast cohostEthan Kleinclaimed he would remove a limb if she ever made it on the show.

“If you go onSaturday Night Live, I will — what’s something really valuable I can put on the line? I’ll cut my arm off,” Klein said. “My whole arm.”

After Paytas told Klein that she did not want him to remove his arm, he reiterated what he then called his “threat,” adding: “If you go onSNL, I’ll cut my f—— arm off.”

Paytas also previously mentioned the NBC show in a2020 TikTok, in which she could be seen pretending to hostSNLwhile its intro song played in the background. “Me hostingSNLthis weekend because the internet really be showing me so much love right now,” her caption read.
