PresidentDonald Trumpshared a new AI video of the Gaza Strip being transformed into a resort-like area — with the inclusion of a luxury building called “Trump Gaza” — a few weeks after suggesting that the United States could"take over" the Palestinian territoryand turn it into something “magnificent.”
Trumpshared the videoto his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, Feb. 25, and it opens with a clip of the war-torn Gaza strip — which was largely destroyed in the Israel-Gaza war — before slowly morphing into a resort full of palm trees, luxury cars and hotels.
The video is set to a dance beat with a voice that sings, “No more tunnels, no more fear / Trump Gaza is finally here!" and includes an AI version of Tesla CEOElon Musk, whom Trump tapped to lead his new Department of Government Efficiency, eating some hummus and other foods. It also shows a large golden Trump statue and areas with mini golden Trump figurines.
Trump posted the video on the heels of a Feb. 4 news conference at the White House alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where he said he wanted “a long-term ownership position" in regard to the U.S. presence in Gaza.
“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said at the conference.
“We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings,” he continued, stating that his plan would “supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.”
“If you go back, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years,” Trump added.
“We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal. I don’t want to be cute, I don’t want to be a wise guy, but the Riviera of the Middle East, this could be something that could be so magnificent,” he added.

Trump’s Feb. 4 remarks also sparked outrage from lawmakers, including Senate Foreign Relations Committee member Chris Coons, who said, “You can report that I was speechless … That’s insane. I can’t think of a place on Earth that would welcome American troops less and where any positive outcome is less likely," reportedNBC News.
Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, who is the first Palestinian American woman to serve in Congress, addedon Xthat “Palestinians aren’t going anywhere.”
