The NFL’s biggest game of the year is just around the corner.
Super Bowl LIX— the 59th championship game to date — will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. As always, fans are already buzzing about which team will win the final match-up of the season and who will ultimately take home the coveted Lombardi Trophy.
After the AFC and NFC Championship games were played on Jan. 26, it’s official: theKansas City Chiefs are returningto the Super Bowl for the third year in a row, and this time, they will be facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The2025 Super Bowlwill take place on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025.
Kick-off for the game begins at 6:30 p.m. EST, but pre-game festivities, likethe national anthem, will start earlier.
Foxalso announced thatOlivia Culpois hosting The Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX, a first-of-its-kind live pre-show covering celebrity fashion and culture, which will start at 3:30 p.m. EST.

The 2025 Super Bowl will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, home to the New Orleans Saints — and the location is long overdue.
In 2018, theNFLannounced that the 2024 Super Bowl would be held in the Big Easy. However, because the game date would have conflicted with Mardi Gras,it was pushedto 2025.
This year will mark the 11th time New Orleans has hosted a Super Bowl, and the league has already made an homage to the city through the game’s official logo.

In November 2024, theNFLannounced that artistJon Batistewould perform the U.S. national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner," at the 2025 Super Bowl.
A New Orleans native, the multi-hyphenate musician has won five Grammys and one Academy Award for his work as a singer, songwriter and composer. His music has appeared in films likeSaturday NightandSonic the Hedgehog, and he served as the musical director forThe Late Show with Stephen Colbertfrom 2015 to 2021.

This marks the second time the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper and 17-time Grammy winner will hit the NFL stage. In 2022, he joinedEminem,Snoop Dogg,50 CentandMary J. BligeforDr. Dre’s show at Super Bowl LVI.
“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date,” Lamar said in a statement. “And I’ll be there to remind the world why."
