Bill Belichickand his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, have beendating for over two years.

The former New England Patriots coach, 72, began seeing Hudson, 24, in early 2023 after his split fromLinda Holliday— his girlfriend of 16 years.

Hudson, who is 48 years younger than Belichick, is a former Bridgewater State University cheerleader. The two reportedly first met in February 2021 while Hudson was still in college.

Belichick and Hudson’s relationship was made public in June 2024. Six months later, they made theirred carpet debutat a gala for the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

She went to cosmetology school

While she was in high school, Hudson simultaneously enrolled in cosmetology school at the New England Hair Academy and commuted daily while balancing her academics, she wrote onInstagramin November 2019.

She continued attending classes at cosmetology school while she was in college, working on her degree online and participating in cheerleading practice at nights. In November 2019, she graduated.

“After many trials, tribulations, countless sacrifices and a few last minute trips to Texas, I have found myself to the end of this incredible year of growth,” she wrote in the caption of her post commemorating her graduation.

She was a cheerleader in college

Hudson attended Bridgewater State University, where she was a cheerleader. In 2021, she and her team wereNCA Collegiate Champions.

She decided to continue her career after graduating and joined the East Celebrity Elite cheer squad, competing with the group in February 2024 to go on to the World Championships.

“I’d like to put out how grateful I am for the sport that kept me anchored through difficult seasons of adolescence and young adulthood, engrained resilience, discipline, and punctuality into my bones…and brought me lifelong friends,” Hudson wrote in anInstagramtribute on National Women in Sports Day.

She and Belichick first met in 2021

Belichick and Hudson first reportedly met in February 2021 when they were seated next to each other on a flight from the Boston area to Florida, perTMZ. The outlet reported that Belichick signed one of Hudson’s textbooks,Deductive Logic.

Belichick and Hudson were first spotted together in January 2023. The couple were seenwalking through the French Quarterin New Orleans, and in September of the same year, they were again spotted in the cityon a dinner date.

Former Patriots players joked about Belichick and Hudson’s age difference

Belichick’s former Patriots team members didn’t spare him from their roasts duringThe Roast of Tom Bradyin May 2024, teasing him for his and Hudson’s large age difference.

Rob Gronkowskiquipped, “Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked. But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.”

Tom Bradyalso chimed in, poking fun at Belichick sneaking out of her home in the early morning.

“When somebody asked me which ring was my favorite, I used to say, ‘The next one,' ” he said. “Now that I’m retired, my favorite is that Ring camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago.”

In June 2024,TMZconfirmed Hudson and Belichick’s romance. The former cheerleader has since defended her rather unconventional relationship on Instagram.

“Nothing changed for usin 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’: yet, somehow everything changed. Going strong,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories in December 2024. “I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025. Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”

Social media users have been relentless in poking fun at Hudson and Belichick. In February 2025, the couple were spotted at a UNC basketball game and later made headlines when a video ofBelichick allegedly asleep in the standssurfaced online.

She and Belichick made their red carpet debut in December 2024

Snoop Dogg joked about their relationship at the NFL Honors

Hudson was at Belichick’s side at the NFL Honors in February 2025, and the couple were the subject of one ofSnoop Dogg’s jokes during his opening monologue.The rapper joked that he’s been a football fan since “back when the Cowboys was good,” “back when the Chiefs was bad” and “I remember, what was it —Bill Belichick’s girlfriendwasn’t even born yet?”

At first, Hudson looked surprised at the joke before joining Belichick and the rest of the audience in laughing.

She honored Belichick with a custom Super Bowl outfit

When Hudson attended the 2025 Super Bowl with Belichick, she wore a black leather jacket that was decorated with nods to her boyfriend’s career, writing in a post onInstagramthat she “designed and created this piecewith my own bare hands.”

Alongside photos of her jacket, she wrote, “And yes, that is an up-cycled leather jacket with time-contextual, historically accurate patches corresponding to BB’s lifelong football career; which are placed chronologically, and include all of his 12 Super Bowl appearances (which are more than 20% of all Super Bowls, EVER).”
