Leanna Lenee is Travis Hunter’s forever teammate.

The Colorado Buffaloes football player got engaged to his girlfriend well over a year before the 2025 NFL Draft. The couple, who announced their engagement in 2024, were teenagers when they first met, and Lenee has previously shared on Instagram that Hunter came into her life at the “most unexpected time.”

“I would constantly pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward so I can fulfill his plan for me. That he would give me motivation to continue, and you were his answer,” she wrote of Hunter in a post in February 2023.

Hunter has also vowed “to do everything possible” to make Lenee the “happiest woman in the world.”

He’s also shown he’s willing to stand up for her. After Hunter won the Heisman Trophy in 2024, he came to his fiancée’s defense when fans criticized her reaction to his name being called at the ceremony, tellingviewers on Twitchthat he feels “the same pain that she feel” when she’s bullied.

Lenee was born in November 2001, making her a Sagittarius. Hunter, who was born in 2003, celebrated his then-girlfriend’s 21st birthday on Nov. 24, 2022, with a romantic post on his Instagram.

Lenee graduated from Kennesaw State University with her bachelor’s degree in 2022. She revealed in anInstagrampost that same year that she finished her four-year degree in just two years.

Lenee was 19 years old when she and Hunter met.

Sharing aTikTokin March 2024 of the two of them eating take-out late at night, she wrote, “What it feels like when God allows you to meet the man of your dreams at 19 and every night together for the past 3 years has felt like a sleepover with your best friend.”

It took the couple a few months to get together, but they started dating in February 2022. Hunter confessed in aYouTube videowith Lenee in October 2022 that he shot his shot on Instagram. Lenee ended up not responding for about two months, and when she did, she just wanted to be friends.

The two proceeded to text for about another two months. However, things changed after Hunter accompanied Lenee to a friend’s birthday dinner because she didn’t want to go alone. Hunter said they’ve been “in love ever since then.”

The pair have celebrated their anniversary with posts on Feb. 26.

The couple announced their engagement in February 2024. Hunter popped the question with a dazzling ring featuring a diamond band.

The duo also appear in each other’s TikTok videos. In August 2024, Hunter shared a video of the two of them dancing in different animal onesies, captioning it, “Im not the only one with hella onesie,” and tagging his fiancée.

Hunter isn’t the only one in the relationship who has gifted the other a car. For the Buffs star’s 21st birthday in 2024, Lenee surprised her fiancé with a Ram 1500 TRX.

The athlete couldn’t contain his excitement after his blindfold was removed and he saw his “dream truck," even briefly leaping on the car. Asked if he was happy, an elated Hunter smiled and nodded.

In December 2024, fans criticized Lenee after a video surfaced onX (formerly Twitter)that showed Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders leaning over to tell her to stand up when Hunter was called as the Heisman winner. The backlash only became worse when asecond videoappeared to show Lenee seemingly acting impatient as Hunter met with fans.

Speaking to fans on Twitch, Hunter said that Lenee had been so upset over the criticism that she’d cried herself to sleep after drinking an “odee amount” of alcohol.

“I know what I got. I know my girl. My girl’s been with me for five years,” he said. “Y’all are just now starting to talk about me and just now starting to be with me. Come on, man.”

He went on to warn “clickbait” pages to stop posting about the situation. “Y’all hate on me and then y’all go hate on my girl,” Hunter said. “I feel the same pain that she feel. We’re unseperable [sic], we’re with each other. If she hurting, of course I’m going to be hurting.”

Hunter has sincedeactivated his Instagramaccount amid continued hatred toward Lenee.
