Kanye Westand his wife, Bianca Censori, are no strangers to headlines.

The “Carnival” rapper, 47, was first spotted with Censori, 30, in January 2023 when they were seen dining together at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, perTMZ. A day later,the outletreported that West, wholegally changed his name to Ye, and Censori were married in an intimate ceremony earlier that month. However, the two didn’t have an official marriage certificate at the time.

West has since publicly referred to Censori as his wife, even going as far as to call her his children’s “stepmom” in a since-deleted January 2024 Instagram post.

West was previously married toKim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm. The two weremarried for seven yearsbefore Kardashianfiled for divorcein February 2021. Thedivorce was officially finalizedin November 2022, just months before West married Censori.

Since they have been together, West and Censori have received a large amount of public attention, in part due to the latter’s choice of style. Though they largely live out of the spotlight, West made hisreturn to the Grammy Awardsafter a decade on Feb. 4 with Censori accompanying him — andturning heads in a nude look.

So who is Kanye West’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Bianca Censori and her relationship with the rapper.

She’s from Australia but resides in Los Angeles

Censori is originally from Melbourne, Australia, but currently resides in Los Angeles, per herLinkedIn. In a profile withVogue Australiain June 2022, the designer opened up about how she splits her time between the two places.

“The pandemic was the first time in a long time a lot of Australian creatives were brought back to one place,” Censori toldVogue. “Melbourne felt like this melting pot of global creativity. People began to cross disciplines and collaborate in ways I hadn’t experienced before.”

Censori has a master’s degree in architecture

The designer grew up with a love for art, telling Hypebeast in 2021 that she “always wanted to be a sculptor.”

To that end, Censori attended the University of Melbourne from 2013 to 2017, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture, per her LinkedIn. In 2019, she returned to the university to earn her master’s degree.

“To me, architecture is the union of art and pragmatics,” she told Hypebeast. “It is the grandest artistic gesture that we can place onto the earth. I was drawn to it, purely, as a shift in artistic scale.”

She works at Yeezy

Per her LinkedIn profile, Censori is an architectural designer for West’s fashion brand Yeezy. She has been with the brand since November 2020, which could be how she first met West.

Before working at Yeezy, Censori held various other roles, including a student architect at DP Toscano Architects and a design consultant at Kelektiv.

Previously, she also started her own jewelry company, Nylons. During an interview withi-Din 2016, she explained that she created the brand after “laying around with mesh, then putting crystals inside the meshing, just making really simple thin chokers.”

She continued, “I started selling those and from there it slowly kept growing. Once I started architecture I still wanted some sort of creative outlet so I kept making jewelry as something to do on the side and it grew into a business!”

She and West quietly married in January 2023

The two were first spotted dining together at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills before TMZ reported their wedding on Jan. 13. A source told the publication that the pair seemed to be “quite comfortable” together as they ate their meal.

It is unclear if the couple have received an official marriage certificate since their intimate ceremony in January 2023.

She seemingly inspired one of West’s songs

Though news of their relationship only became public in January, it seems like the two had known each other for a bit longer.

Not only had Censori been working for Yeezy since 2020, but fans have speculated that the rapper’s song, “Censori Overload,” released in December 2022, was meant as a nod to the designer’s last name.

Despite rumors, PEOPLE confirmed that the couplewere not kicked out of the Grammysfollowing Censori’s nearly nude appearance. She and West walked the red carpet and left shortly after.

Censori later hit an afterpartyin another nude look, sporting a sheer black bodysuit and a pair of black suede boots.
