Lindsay Lohanhas found love withBader Shammas— and now they’re parents!

The couple first sparkedromance rumorsin February 2020, but the details of when and how they met are unknown. Shammas and Lohan eventuallywed in 2022.

“I am the luckiest woman in the world,” the actress wrote on Instagram. “Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace. I am stunned that this is my husband.”

In July 2023, the couplewelcomed their first child together. They named their son Luai, which means “shield or protector” in Arabic.

Though the couple tend to remain private, Shammas did make a rare appearance at Lohan’s side when he supported his wife at the New York premiere of her Netflix movieOur Little Secretin November 2024. They posed for photos together on the red carpet.

Shammas is the assistant vice president at Credit Suisse. Multiple outlets reported a LinkedIn profile with his name and occupation. According to its official website, Credit Suisse is “a leading financial services company, advising clients in all aspects of finance, across the globe and around the clock.”

The LinkedIn profile reportedly lists Shammas as having attended the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa.

He’s been romantically linked to Lohan since 2020

In February 2020, Lohan sparked romance rumors when she shared a since-deleted group photo from a music festival in Dubai, casuallymentioning a “boyfriend” in the caption.

In the picture, Lohan was seen happily posing between a man in a black jacket and Bastille drummer Chris “Woody” Wood, who performed with his band that night. Also among the group were Lohan’s sister Aliana and rocker Dan Smith.

“@aliana lovely night with sister and my boyfriend bader” she wrote, adding,“such a magical night.”

A rep for Lohan didn’t confirm the dating rumors at the time.

He has a private Instagram account

In her engagement post, Lohan taggedShammas' Instagram account, which he keeps private. To date, he has 780 followers.

Lohan called him her “forever Valentine”

Lohan shared a black-and-white photo of the two cuddled together on Valentine’s Day 2022.

“My forever Valentine,” shecaptioned the image, adding a red heart emoji.

He lives in Dubai

Like Lohan, Shammas resides in Dubai.

In 2017, Lohan elaborated on her decision to move abroad in aninterview withEntertainment Tonight.

He wasn’t Lohan’s first fiancé

When Lohan and Shammas got engaged, shewrote on Instagram, “My love. My life. My family. My future,” adding the hashtag “#love.”

However, Shammas wasn’t the first man to propose to Lohan. She was previously engaged to Russian business mogul Egor Tarabasov. The relationship ended in 2016 when a video of aphysical altercation between the twosurfaced online.

“I genuinely fell in love with him, but he broke my trust and made me feel unsafe,” Lohan said.

He has the approval of Lohan’s family

Lohan doubled down on the family vibes when sheposted a 2021 recap collageon Instagram featuring photos of her and Shammas spending quality time with her family.

After Lohan referred to Shammas asher husbandin an Instagram post, PEOPLEconfirmedLohan was married in July 2022.

He and Lohan welcomed their first child together in July 2023

Lohan and Shammas became parents in July 2023 when theywelcomed their son, Luai. In Arabic, his name means “shield or protector.”

A rep for the actress confirmed the news to PEOPLE and said: “Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love.”

In June 2024, Shammascelebrated his first Father’s Day. “We love you sooooooo much!!!” Lohan wrote on Instagram in honor of the special day.

He and Lohan are good friends with Steph and Ayesha Curry
