Ludvig Åberg’s girlfriend, Olivia Peet, is proud of him.
The professional golf star — who is featured in season 3 of Netflix’sFull Swing— has been romantically linked to the British native since September 2023, when they stepped out together in Rome just before the Ryder Cup. Since then, Peet has been a constant presence at his tournaments, including the Paris Olympics in August 2024.
Although Peet is proud of Åberg’s athletic success, she toldPGA Tourin February 2025 that she is also “so impressed with who he is on and off the golf course.”
“Honestly, he’s just the best human and he’s just so professional,” Peet said. “Acts like a champ, is a champ. He’s just the best.”

Peet was born on Dec. 13, 1999, and grew up in Manchester, United Kingdom, per theofficial Texas Tech women’s tennis roster, alongside her sister, Alexis.
Her father, Chris Peet, was a professional tennis player and passed his love for the sport on to his daughter, who became one of the 10 nationally ranked players in England.
As team captain, she helped lead her high school to three national championships.

Peet attended Texas Tech University, where she graduated with her master’s degree in sport and fitness administration and management in December 2023, perher LinkedIn. She was a Division 1 tennis player throughout her five years there, starting in as a freshman in 2018.
When her collegiate tennis career wrapped in May 2023, she wrote onInstagramthat it was “one of the greatest experiences of [her] life.”
“Thank you to all my coaches and support staff at Texas tech for believing in me and pushing me to be the best version of myself everyday on and off the tennis court,” she penned. “This is the end of a chapter but I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future.”

In aMarch 2022 videoto celebrate International Women’s Day with Texas Tech Women’s Tennis, Peet opened up about how being a female athlete has given her “confidence” and “empowerment.”
Peet continued, “I’m a big believer of setting an example and having fun with doing the sport that I love and always working hard, always standing up for myself, and I think that’s so important for the next upcoming generation of females.”

Although Åberg and Peet haven’t disclosed how they met, the pair were first romantically linked when she joined him in Rome in September 2023 ahead of the Ryder Cup.
Since then, they’ve traveled near and far together — fromvisiting Texas Tech University,where they both went to school, tovacationing in Hawaii.
More recently, theycelebrated Christmasin December 2024 with Peet’s family in Florida.

Although they excel at different games, their shared love of sports has rubbed off on each other.
“I’ve always been a huge tennis fan. I’ve always liked playing tennis. I’ve always liked watching tennis, and it’s just grown exponentially ever since I met my girlfriend,” Åberg said in a 2024 interview withWimbledon.
He continued, “She’s in the tennis world, she obviously played herself, and I’ve grown to love it even more.”

While Peet is often supportive of Åberg’s career, certain moments have made her extra “proud” of her boyfriend.
In her interview with the PGA Tour that week, she elaborated on how she felt, describing it as a “mixture of proud [and] emotional.”
“He works so hard and just to see it all pay off,” the athlete said, describing it as a “redemption tour” after the athlete found himself at the bottom of the leaderboard at the Farmers Insurance Open the previous week following a stomach illness.
