A woman has been arrested after police say they caught her on camera throwing a “first date” brick through the window of her ex-husband’s Florida home.
On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) shared footage onFacebookshowing Sabrina Coyne, 34, appearing to launch the construction material at a Bonita Springs property. Officers posted the doorbell camera video, dated four days prior, while Rik Rok andShaggy’s 2000 hit “It Wasn’t Me"played in the background.
“A 34-year-old woman is behind bars for throwing a ‘first date’ brick through a Bonita Springs residence window,” police captioned the clip.
“Deputies located Sabrina Coyne outside of the residence after the homeowner says they woke up to a loud crash and banging on the front door,” the sheriff’s office added.
“Coyne was arrested for criminal mischief & throwing a deadly missile into an occupied dwelling,” police said.
Peronline LCSO arrest records, the suspect was released on Sunday, Jan. 26 after posting bond — $5,000 for the weapon offense charge and $2,500 for the criminal mischief charge.

“Yeah I’m trying to get in touch with my ex-husband…” she responded, insisting, “I banged on the door because he wouldn’t let me in!”
“Did you launch anything in there?” the officer asked, as the suspect insisted, “No” before the camera cut to footage showing her throwing what appeared to be a brick.
“I didn’t break the window, I did not break the window!” she told police, reiterating, “Officer, officer, I did not break the window.”

The video showed a commemorative brick with the date June 14, 2020 on it, seemingly referencing the couple’s first date, as mentioned in the caption. Police didn’t confirm the victim’s name.
