Police found the body of Kaminski’s husband near his vehicle the next day following a manhunt.

TheCBC, theCalgary HeraldandCityNews Calgaryreported that Kaminski’s husband, Benedict Kaminski, 38, is believed to have been responsible for the murders.

TheCalgary Herald,citing Ania’s brother, Peter, reported that she and Benedict had gotten in a big fight on Christmas at her parent’s home.

Peter told the paper that the fight started after the couple’s son wanted to sit next to his grandfather at the table, rather than his father.

“He kept antagonizing his kid,” Peter reportedly said. “He started to push my sister away forcefully. I almost got into a fistfight with him.”
