So what futuristic capabilities do these sunglasses have, exactly? For starters, they are equipped with a hi-res camera that can take photos and videos from your exact point of view totally hands-free, without using your phone or any other device.

They also allow you to listen to your favorite music and podcasts through Apple, Amazon, and Spotify. While the speakers are clear and plenty loud, you can control the volume through the Meta App or the touchpad on the side of the glasses, so you won’t have to worry about others hearing your playlist.

Meta is also slowly rolling out Meta AI features, currently available to those enrolled in the Early Access Program (you can join the waitlisthere). With Meta AI, you can translate conversations in another language, Shazam music to find out exactly what you’re listening to, and even give recipes based on the ingredients in front of you. Pretty unbelievable, right?
