Zoe Saldañais hoping her sons will take an interest in dance.
The actress, 46, spoke toW. Magazinefor their first issue in 2025 and shared that she’s been attempting to get her three young sons — Cy and Bowie, 10, and Zen, 8, whom she shares with husband Marco Perego, 45 — into dance.
“I’m trying. I’m not going to give up. Studies have shown that it is so therapeutic for men to take any form of dance at a very early age or throughout their lives because they carry so much tension and emotion,” she tells the outlet.
“At least my twins are tapping. My younger one, he couldn’t give a s— who is dancing. He wants to be Cristiano Ronaldo; he wants to be Lionel Messi,” she continues. “But my twins are very much like, ‘Yo, girls are in there? They’re dancing hip-hop?’ And they’ll dance.”

Saldaña wore a black shirt and red lipstick, posing with one hand on one of her older boys, smiling for the camera. Perego stood on the other side of her, wearing a gray fedora and striped shirt with a leather jacket, placing a hand on the couple’s other twin.
Their younger son Zen smiled in the middle, wearing a long necklace and a graphic T-shirt.

In November, Saldañashared that her kids have a special namefor her good friend Cameron Diaz. She told PEOPLE at Elle’s 2024 Women in Hollywood event at The Four Seasons, Beverly Hills on Nov. 19 thatThe Holidayactress has forged a deep bond with her and her family — so much so that her children call her “auntie” in Spanish.
“It is an honor to know you and what a gift for my kids to call you ‘Tía,’ and I call you ‘friend,’ ” she added, referring to kids Cy, Bowie and Zen. “I love you. Thank you for being [on the] line for me, for us and for me.”
