Saldaña attended the2025 BAFTAson Feb. 16 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, when she won the award forbest supporting actress.

She told preshow host Alex Zane that she “couldn’t be more proud of the project that has brought me here” to the BAFTAs.

The week before, Saldaña attended the2025 Critics Choice Awardsat the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., on Feb. 7. At the awards show, Saldaña was crowned the winner for best supporting actress.

She gave a teary shoutout to her sons during her acceptance speech while also taking time to thank her collaborators and supporters.

“To my fellow nominees, the films this year and the work you’ve all done. It’s breathtaking,” Saldaña said. “I will forever be proud to be among you. Thank you to all of you. I can’t see you, but you f—ing rock.”

On the red carpet, she toldE!that Saint Laurent creative director Anthony Vaccarello — who also produced Emilia Pérez — designed the gown especially for her.

“I just told him I wanted something in the chocolates, in the deep browns,” she said of the gown. “I just felt really beautiful in it.”
